I’m just… continuously blown away by Lance’s emotional maturity.
Like, in seconds he goes from talking about his issues with (clone) Shiro to defending him and reassuring Allura that she can still work with him. His empathy is gorgeous. I feel like he has such a healthy grasp on his own emotions, this intuitive understanding that “okay, I’m feeling this way right now and that’s valid, but my personal feelings shouldn’t color my judgement.” It would have been so easy for him to go “oh yeah Shiro’s totally being a jerk rn,” but instead he automatically tries to see things from Shiro’s perspective and speak on his behalf.
He’s just so understanding, and good, and just. Wow.
